Black Bean Soup

 Ingredients:

	5 oz dried black beans, boiled, soaked, and rinsed
	1 cup chicken broth
	1/2 cup water
	1 clove garlic
	2 tablespoons minced onion
	1 bell pepper, red or green or mixed
	1/4 teaspoon salt
	1/4 teaspoon chili powder
	1/4 teaspoon cumin

Instructions:
	Combine beans, broth and water and simmer 1 1/2 hours. Add remaining ingredients, cook additional 30-60 minutes.
	Serve with corn tortillas or corn muffins.
	Could be cooked in crock pot.
