Ingredients:
1 14 oz pkg dry green split peas 1 14 oz pkg alphabet macaroni 1 12 oz akg pearl barley 1 12 oz pkg lentiles 1 1/2 cup rice - brown preferred 4 cup dry onion 1 1/2 cup dry soup mix 1 15 oz can tomatoe sauce 1 Tbsp salt 2 carrots 2 stalks celery 1/4 head cabbage Instructions: Mix dry ingredients Store in dry jars To make soup Measure 2 quarts water in large kettle Add dry soup mix and tomato sauce Add salt and bring to boil Reduce to simmer for 1 1/2 hours Add carrots and celery and cabbage Simmer 30 minutes more
