Ingredients:
9 inch baked pie shell 2/3 cup sugar 1/4 cup cornstarch 1/2 teaspoon salt 3 cups milk 4 egg yolks, slightly beaten 2 tablespoons butter 4 teaspoons vanilla 2 to 3 bananas Instructions: Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt, milk and egg yolks in sauce pan. Bring to boil, stirring frequently, and boil for one minute. Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla. Cool to room temperature. Spread small amount of pudding in bottom of pie shell. Layer 1/2 of bananas on top. Add 1/2 of remaining pudding. Add remainder of bananas. Top with remainder of pudding. Chill until set. Top with whipped cream just before serving.
